I work at the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Faculty of Philosophy and Institute for Ethics and Applied Philosophy. My research interests include the ethics and politics of science, politics of education, education policy, AI ethics in education, science and democracy, and medical ethics and law. Currently, I am conducting research on the politics of science and its connection to educational policy in Indonesia, drawing on the pragmatist philosophy of Philip Kitcher. This study examines how scientific practices influence educational reforms and how educational policies affect science policies, focusing on justice, autonomy of science, and democratic principles. Beyond my primary research on science policy and education, I am also preparing a research project on the ethics of AI in education and healthcare, as well as the intersections of medical ethics with legal and political issues.
